GOAL SETTING COURSE: During the month of January Dr. Nichelle will be holding a goal setting course, which will be 90 minutes long geared towards setting personal, health, and career goals. Let us help you set SMART goals and make some exciting changes in 2017.

The Docs Favorite Corrective Exercise for December
This movement helps to strengthen the external rotation muscles of the rotator cuff complex. The rotator cuff is composed of four muscles: supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, and teres minor. The external rotators are the infrapsinatus and teres minor.

When: January 7th, 2017 10am-1:30pm
The event is $25 for adults and $10 for children. The money goes to the American Cancer Society. The event entails running into the freezing cold water in your swim suit.
Why: To raise money and say you did it!

If you can begin getting yourself to say positively things about yourself and other, you can then begin to start thinking positively as well. The positive thoughts are all an essential part of your mental health.
What Are Your Docs Learning this Month?
Dr. Antonio took a course called Foundations Training earlier in the year. It is a program that has helps thousands find relief from pain and is a way in which patients can use their own body to get in proper positions and decompress the spine. Patients of Dr. Antonio have found relief in back pain to relief of knee pain. The movements are simple, but incredibly challenging.
Dr. Nichelle has been working towards her Postnatal Fitness Specialist Certification. This has encouraged her to read even more about how to rehab the core and pelvic floor in the postpartum period. She is working on building a postpartum rehab series for moms to learn how to rebuild their body’s safely and effectively.
