If you have been following along the past month or so with my blogs on sugar, then you know how I finally was able to break free from sugar, you learned why I compare sugar to smoking, and hopefully have found some tips to eating healthy and becoming sugar free. This final blog of my series is about how to eat out and work towards being sugar free, along with a few other health tips when out and about.
In our household, we are “boring”. We rarely eat out because we honestly like to cook at home and also like to save the money. After nearly a decade of learning about nutrition and making gradual lifestyle changes, I actually prefer what I cook to what can be made at a restaurant (at least most of the time!). However, we do eat out on occasion and I want to share some tips for healthy eating when at a restaurant.

There are even more things to think about when eating out, but here are a few things to think about to help you make a few lifestyle changes. Just a few small changes will add up over time. The one I think makes the biggest impact is getting rid of the unnecessary sugary drinks.
